I grew up in a small town in southeastern Michigan and entered the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil in 2002 while finishing my degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University. After college, I moved to Indianapolis to work in construction management, where I first began to grow deeply in my new faith—especially through daily Mass.
During a Holy Thursday adoration in 2003, I experienced a profound call to the priesthood. Though I initially resisted, after two years of prayer and discernment, I finally surrendered to God’s will and entered seminary in 2005. I was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana in 2011.
Since ordination, I’ve served at several parishes across the diocese and have developed a deep love for Catholic schools and parish life. In 2020, I was appointed Missionary Pastor of the newly formed St. Michael the Archangel Pastorate, which includes St. Augustine in Rensselaer, Sacred Heart in Remington, and Sts. Peter and Paul in Goodland. St. Augustine School, with its rich legacy dating back to 1903, is a source of great pride. I’m honored to serve a faith-filled community committed to academic excellence and the Catholic tradition.
